Skills

Bazaar now has a real skill system.

You can turn a strong project into a reusable skill, browse skills in a proper library, preview them before activation, copy public skills into your own workspace, and keep the active skill visible right in the chat rail while you work.

Brands

brand.md is now a first-class part of the product.

You can save brands at the project or profile level, edit them directly in the workspace, activate and switch between them more cleanly, and delete stale brand files you no longer want. New projects also no longer inherit a hidden fallback brand behind the scenes.

Claude Code + CLI

Bazaar now works much better with Claude Code, Codex, and the CLI workflow around it.

We added hosted setup-skill.md / skill.md flows, a smoother setup bridge from inside the editor, and a much stronger CLI: scene creation from raw TSX, rename/move/history/undo, balance visibility, preview output, and much better next-step guidance for real end-to-end workflows.

Better Preview, Share, and Export

Preview is much more stable.

The player now holds onto the last good render during recompiles instead of flashing blank, text measurement and wrapping are more reliable, font handling is more consistent across the stack, and preview, share pages, and exports are much closer to each other. Audio and video-backed clips also behave more reliably in shared and exported outputs.

A Smarter, Steadier Agent

The composition agent is materially more reliable in real editing sessions.

Scene briefs now feed generation more directly, recent uploads can be reused implicitly, cosmetic edits are less likely to trigger destructive full-scene replacement, max-token cutoffs recover instead of dying early, obvious browse-only loops stop sooner, and active skills now take precedence over template inspiration.

Billing and Reliability

A lot of work in this release made Bazaar safer to use in production.

We fixed Stripe subscription checkout races, blocked incorrect trial-start balance grants, improved low-balance export upgrade prompts, hardened scene compilation and write paths, and improved runtime observability around generation sessions.

Community Feedback

We also kept working through prompt submissions from the community, and a number of the smaller sharp fixes in this release came directly from that queue.

Thank you to Albert, Bendik, Johnnie, and Ola for sending thoughtful prompts, bug reports, and edge cases that helped make Bazaar better.

The agent layers scenes more naturally, respects your brand, and handles replacements without losing your work.

Smarter, Faster Agent

The AI agent is now faster and more reliable. We've upgraded the core engine, added parallel tool execution, and fixed silent stall issues that could leave generations stuck. Portrait and square formats now work seamlessly — templates, code generation, and previews all respect your chosen format.

Pro Model for Subscribers

Subscribers now have access to Max mode — our most capable AI model for complex compositions. Look for the model selector in the chat.

For Developers

Build videos programmatically with npm install -g bazaar.it. The CLI now supports agent-friendly streaming, budget controls, and 16 commands for full pipeline automation — from project creation to Lambda export.

Fixes

  • Share links now always show the latest version of your video after edits (thanks Adam for reporting!)
  • Fixed an issue where audio could cut out near the start of videos.

Stop, Plan, Polish

Agent

  • Stop Generation — hit the stop button when the agent's going in the wrong direction. No more waiting for a generation you don't want.
  • Plan Mode (Beta) — spar ideas with the agent and agree on a plan before it starts building. Early version — more coming soon.

Timeline Precision

Trimming, dragging, and reordering scenes on the timeline had a handful of quirks — gaps appearing between scenes, waveforms not matching what you trimmed, colors jumping around. All fixed.
